What these rules cover

Dragon Fight Club has a community shelf: a public page where Dungeon Masters share homebrew monsters and spells, and any other DM can take a copy into their own library. These rules say what may go on it. They are part of the terms of service, so breaking them is breaking the terms.

Nothing in your library is shared until you share it, one item at a time.

What you can share

• Homebrew monsters and spells you wrote.
• Anything built on the System Reference Document. The SRD is published under a Creative Commons license, so reskinning an SRD monster or building on an SRD spell is fine.
• Your rework of another DM’s shared item. The credit line back to them is carried for you and cannot be removed.

What you cannot share

Content copied from published books

Statblocks, spells, and text taken from D&D books, or from any other publisher’s material, do not belong on the shelf. Retyping it does not make it yours, and neither does changing the name. If it is not yours and it is not from the SRD, do not share it. This is the rule we enforce hardest, because it is the one that can cost every DM here the shelf.

Hateful, harassing, or sexually explicit content

Nothing that attacks people for who they are, targets a real person, or is sexually explicit. Dark fantasy is welcome. This is a public shelf anyone can read without signing in, so keep it to what you would hand a stranger at a table.

Links to other sites

Shared text carries no external links. Links are how a public shelf turns into a spam board, and one person cannot police them. Links in shared text are stripped or refused when you publish.

Anything illegal, or anything aimed at the service

No illegal material, and nothing built to break, probe, or overload the app or the people using it.

What breaking a rule costs

• Delisted. The item comes off the shelf and off your author page. DMs who already took it keep a working copy, so a call made here never breaks someone else’s prepared game.
• Removed. The item is gone for everyone, including DMs who took it. We tell them it was taken down, so nothing vanishes on them silently. Copyright takedowns land here.
• Banned. Keep breaking the rules and you lose access to sharing, and everything you shared comes off the shelf.

Reporting something

Report an item from its own page. Every shared monster and spell carries a Report button for anyone signed in. Press it and pick a reason.

Without an account there is no button, so reports come in by email instead. Write to the address below with a link to the item and what is wrong with it: copied book content, hate, a spam link.

Either way, the report comes to us and nobody else, and the DM who reported is never named to the author.
